Well with all things now aday i needed ot buy something for the chickens to live in so i got 5 minutes and went straight onto ebay and searched for chicken coops, How easy is this hundreds of results, so i tried a few other words like chicken house and chook house, there was heaps there was chicken coops everywhere all i had to decide was what shape !!

I printed a few of the page off and sowed them to the other half to see which one she liked the look of. While I was waiting on the design approval fromt he wife i started to do some mor investigation on ebay. I started to look at the different coop models and noticed although they all looked similar there was differences in each some with trays some with pershces some that open some that had windows. I spend a fair bit of time lookigna the variuos models workingout which one we coudl afford and which one looked the best. The chicken coops supervisor came back to me the next day and said, i dont car which one its going down the side of the hosues we cant see it anyway.

So the plan was in full swing i now had a location…..

The chicken idea takes flight, do they fly ?

The fun begins, the children have decided that we need chickens !!! How the kids decided they need chickes is sort of my fault but thats covered in the why am I building a chicken coop page.

My wife has now also admitted defeat and we are now looking at how we are going find chickens where we are going to house these chickens and what is really involved in looking after chickens, people have been doing it for thousands of years it cant be that hard can it ?

I am writting here to keep people up to date on the process of deciding to get chickens all the way through to when we actually get some and then where they live

The reason we are getting chickens well thats a long story about why do we need a chicken coop but I have put the detials here and remember there is some things not to say when your kids are around unless you have every intention of doing it

Chicken houses sheds or coops whatever you want to call them  is what i will be looking at for a while while we go about getting our back yard ready
